I like my villains to stay villains however I do love the redemption of Severus Snape, even though he wasn’t really bad in the first place. I dunno I’m not really into redemption arcs so much. Zuko- Best redemption arc/a redemption arc that should have happened I’m mot sure anyone can best her in combat. I love both sets and each gives an extra little look into the lives of the characters. This one is a tied between The Assassin’s Blade (The Throne of Glass story collection) and The Girl of Fire and Thorns Stories. The Tales of Ba Sing Se – best short story/poetry collection She seemed to be a bit more passive of a character but by the end she blooms into more of a leader. She’s a lot stronger than I initially gave her credit or when I started reading the first book. Toph – A character who’s strength surprised you/or surprised the other characters in the book Let me tell you, as a woman who does not ever want kids this is terrifying to me. The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood and pretty much every other dystopian that takes away reproductive rights. Actually all of the sibling relationships in those books are pretty well done. I really like the relationship between Eadlynn and her brother in The Heir and The Crown, the two spin off books from the Selection Series. Katara and Sokka- Best sibling relationship.
